Duncan started his career at Macquarie Bank in the principal investment team in 2005, working on many cross-border transactions based in Sydney, Cape Town, and Frankfurt. He joined Delivery Hero in 2014 and has helped internationalise the business through over 30+ M&A transactions. He was also responsible for the effort to list the company on the Frankfurt stock exchange in 2017.
Brendon spent over 13 years at Macquarie Capital and was instrumental in internationalising its venture capital business, being based in Australia, Germany and Hong Kong. At Macquarie he invested in many leading consumer internet, software and fintech businesses, including Takeaway.com, Lieferando, Grab, Temple & Webster and Nuix.
Miguel Suarez Gallo
Miguel has been a member of Delivery Hero’s Strategy and M&A team since 2017. He has supported Delivery Hero’s expansion through its IPO and over 20 M&A transactions. He spearheaded Delivery Hero’s investment arm by investing in companies such as Glovo, Rappi, Impossible Foods and Zomato. Prior to joining Delivery Hero, he spent two years in the corporate development team at foodpanda.
Joohee joined from a Berlin-based fintech start up where she was a product manager for open banking. Prior to this she spent 7 years in Asia, including at Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong where she developed expertise in Asian equities. She later moved to Beijing to join the investment team at the Softbank-TPG joint venture VC.
Prior to joining DX Ventures Moritz gained experience in early-stage VC at btov Partners’ Digital Tech fund in Berlin and in corporate venture building at used-car platform heycar, where he later also worked within the Business Intelligence team. His academic background combines education in management, entrepreneurship and analytics. Before graduating from IE University in Madrid, he studied in Hamburg, Paris and Stanford
